The Fourth Day of Summer
On the fourth day of summer, Nick went to a convenience store to get some comics and drinks. School was out and he didn't have anything to do, so he decided to spend the night reading some comics while enjoying some carbonated drinks. After getting what he came for, he got on his bike and start pedalling.
Nick lived in a small town called Nevia and he lived with his parents and a younger brother. He spent most of his time reading as he was the quiet kid in class. He's got some friends and they would hang out near the river where they would skip stones and just spend some time goofing off. The town was beautiful but it can get really scary at night as some people were missing.
As Nick riding the bike and enjoying the cool summer air at night, he felt like something was following him. He heard something in the bush and it moved really fast. Nick got scared and decided to stop by his bestfriend's house, Jimmy. He jumped off his bike and ran towards the door of his Jimmy's house and knocked on his door and he saw a big furry figure running towards him. The creature got a hold of his legs and Nick started screaming.
The door swung open and Jimmy's dad pointed a shotgun at the creature and he shot him. A loud scream was heard as the creature was running towards the wood while holding an agonizing pain. Luckily, Nick was not seriously injured, and Jimmy dragged him inside the house and they closed the door. Jimmy's father, Eric Thompson told Nick that the creature would hunt for people at night and he's had an encountered with the creature during his late night drive. That's why he brought a shotgun to the door and knew what happened when he heard a scream. Nick thanked Mr. Thompson and decided to stay the night at Jimmy's house.
They spent the night reading comics and talking about his experience regarding the encounter with the creature. He'll make sure to tell everyone about the beast as they called him to make sure that everyone is safe. But no one can guarantee that the creature was dead as they heard a faint howling in the woods.
